Gold Tuna Bangyi-dong: The Best Spot for Business & VIP Group Dining

In the quiet neighborhood of Bangi, Songpa-gu, not far from the serene trails of Jamsil and the bustle of the station, sits Goldtuna.

Yesterday, our dining room was filled with the presence of some truly welcome guests.

Fellow entrepreneurs from the BNI Chance Chapter, a community I walked with for a year, arrived for a special gathering accompanied by a guest visiting all the way from Japan.

Connections born at the break of dawn

For a long time, I was an active member of the BNI Chance Chapter.

I remember dressing in my finest suit for our breakfast meetings at 6:30 in the morning.

It was a time of shared ambitions, where we introduced our businesses and connected one another with the right people.

The core principle was simple: "Givers Gain"—the idea that those who give first are those who ultimately receive.

Back then, we exchanged business cards with professional resolve.

This time, we shared something more intimate—fine cuts of tuna and raised glasses at Goldtuna.

This is the quiet joy of running a restaurant.

Even when I cannot reach out, the people I miss return to me, drawn by the simple promise of a good meal.

A highlight for our guest: the spirit-blending show

Our guest from Japan had mentioned a specific wish: to witness the famous spirit-blending show at Goldtuna.

Hearing that they chose our Bangi location out of all the places in Seoul touched me deeply.

As our manager prepared the glasses, cameras were at the ready.

The glasses rose, cheers erupted, and laughter filled the air.

Moments were captured between bites of tuna, and stories flowed as naturally as the drinks.

Serious business talk and lighthearted banter merged seamlessly across the table.

That night, Goldtuna felt less like a restaurant and more like a lively family celebration.

Being part of life’s most radiant moments

Running a restaurant allows me to witness the milestones of our guests from a unique vantage point.

A table where long-lost friends reconnect.

A gathering where a traveler is warmly welcomed.

A moment where people laugh and celebrate together.

Watching these scenes makes me genuinely happy.

We often think of our "most beautiful moments" as belonging only to our youth.

But an evening spent laughing with good people is just as luminous.

It is a radiant highlight in the tapestry of a life well-lived.

The blessing of serving others

In simple terms, commerce is the exchange of food for payment.

Yet, the ability to leave someone full and satisfied is a profound privilege.

To bring joy to a gathering and to offer a guest from afar a beautiful memory of Korea—that is meaningful.

Though it is a meal provided for a price, if it brightens someone’s day, I believe it becomes a small offering to the world.

Practicing the art of sincere service through food and seeing the smiles at the table.

This is the ultimate blessing returned to those of us behind the counter.

Notes of gratitude at our entrance

With gratitude for your return

My heartfelt thanks to my friends from the BNI Chance Chapter and our guest from Japan.

The echoes of laughter and cheers from that night will remain with us at Goldtuna for a long time.

Whether you are planning a group gathering, a business meeting, or a special meal for international guests in Bangi, we will prepare your table with quiet dedication.

A place where we honor people through food.

We look forward to welcoming you at Goldtuna Bangi.

With respect, Yeon Choi of Goldtuna.
