Celebrating 20 Years: A Special Anniversary Date in Bangi-dong
One summer evening in July 2026, a couple sat across from each other at the counter of Goldtuna Bangi branch (골드참치 방이점).
The facts we learned through our conversation were quite surprising. The husband is now thirty-nine, yet they have already reached their 20th wedding anniversary. Their first son was already a respectable twenty-year-old young man.

Thirty-nine, and the time of 20 years of marriage
After hearing their age, I unknowingly asked again.
“Have you really been married for 20 years?”
The two explained that they started a family a little earlier than others, driven by their certainty for each other. The smiles they wore while recalling the choices of those days and the experiences of becoming parents at an early age were truly clear and peaceful.
They were a couple who carried the weight of life earlier than their peers, but found peaceful happiness just as quickly.
The two were so young and full of energy that it was hard to believe they had a son who had already become a young man.

The eldest son has already turned twenty. Having passed through the years of pouring their whole hearts into raising children, the couple was finally facing the leisure to enjoy eating out together and filling the gaps of daily life.
