As the day winds down, I sit in the quiet of my living room and let the memories of the past few hours settle.
A deep sense of gratitude remains.
It was a day that felt almost miraculous—singular, special, and deeply moving.
During lunch, we were honored to host a group of eight guests who had traveled all the way from Taiwan.
It is often noted that travelers from Southeast Asia and Taiwan do not frequently seek out raw fish, yet they shared that Goldtuna was a mandatory stop on their Korean itinerary.
Perhaps it was our signature cocktails being featured on television, or the fact that our videos have reached a staggering number of viewers across social media.
Just a few days ago, I saw that our most popular clip had surpassed 200 million views.
Even to me, it feels like a remarkable achievement.
From the moment they entered, they moved through the space with the reverence of those on a long-awaited pilgrimage.
They began capturing photos immediately, their voices filled with wonder.
It was as if they were documenting every second of a dream.
When it came time to order, they chose our most indulgent course.
There is a certain joy in serving those who wish to experience the very best we have to offer.
They opted for the Omakase Special at 130,000 KRW per person, accompanied by a classic blend of beer and spirits.
As the appetizers were followed by the finest cuts of tuna, the room transformed into a festival of delight.
They laughed with an abandonment that reminded me of children at play.
The phrase "laughing until you cry" seemed to manifest right before my eyes.
The echo of their happiness lingers in the restaurant even now.

I also find myself thinking of the couple who sat at Table 3, visiting us from Banpo.
In their mid-forties, they had left their children in good hands and braved the heavy rush-hour traffic of the Olympic Expressway to reach us.
"What is it about this tuna that made us travel such a distance?" they joked with a mock sigh, yet their eyes were filled with the relief of finally arriving.
To be the destination of someone's rare evening out is a profound honor that strengthens my resolve to offer nothing but the best.
There was also a young couple in their twenties who waited at the nearby coffee shop just to secure a seat.
They waited for a full hour and twenty minutes before we could welcome them in.
It is quite rare for guests to wait in line for a specialized tuna restaurant.
Their patience and expectation are gifts that provide us with a sense of immense pride and purpose.
It is these precious moments, stacked one by one, that make Goldtuna the special place it is today.
And I have some wonderful news to share.
