Gold Tuna: Delivering Value Beyond Great Food

At Goldtuna, there are quiet secrets woven into the experience that often go unnoticed.

They begin with the rigorous selection of the finest catch,

and flow through each element of our fifteen-step course journey.

From the way we greet every guest to the smallest detail arranged on the plate,

our philosophy and quiet dedication are felt in every single moment.

A memory from 2015, handing out flyers at the entrance of the Songpa district office. This spirit remains our foundation.

Beneath every process lies a single anchor: a commitment to our original intentions.

When I look back on this path, a thought occasionally crosses my mind.

“Did I truly achieve all of this?”

Even in moments of uncertainty, I offer myself a small word of encouragement.

“You have worked hard; you have done well.”

From 2015 to 2017, this was my daily attire as I reached out to neighbors on the street.

Success was never guaranteed from the start.

I took over a shop on the verge of demolition with a confidence I didn't yet understand, only to find not a single customer inside.

For a place that had been abandoned for four years, seeing someone walk through the door felt like a miracle.

At that time, if I couldn't solve the problem, I was facing the reality of losing my own home.

A shared moment with our team at a vineyard.

The new challenge that followed began with a complete overhaul of the menu.

It also involved the only thing I could do best:

taking to the streets for two hours every day with flyers to find our guests.

The crosswalk in front of the local office became my dedicated post,

and I would even run the Seokchon Lake track with a Goldtuna balloon tied to my hat.

I wanted people to notice, to think, "Who is that? I should visit that place."

In those early days of first steps, I devoted myself to constant study.

Through this process, we refined the flow of our courses and developed our unique trays and signature hospitality performances.

I would run the tracks at Seokchon Lake wearing this hat and balloon to share our name.

What guided me through countless trials was a single vision:

the commitment to offer our guests the finest experience possible,

and the promise to deliver value that transcends the food itself.

It is this belief that allowed me to endure difficult moments without losing my smile.

Even now, I continue to learn, to communicate with our guests,

and to ensure we never lose the spirit we started with.

A selection from our fifteen-step main course journey.

I hope Goldtuna is remembered not merely as a place that serves food,

but as a special destination where memories and emotions are gathered.

Because this is the work I love,

our guests are the reason I can continue to move forward every day.

Constant learning is the bridge that sustains our long-term vision.

So today, I pour devoted care into the smallest details,

carrying a heart of gratitude as I strive to offer our guests the finest experience.

A quiet moment captured just before the food meets the guest.
